Remove foot from clutch pedal after gear change to avoid Clutch Coasting

Turn Position Right (Right Hand Turns)

Check Mirrors
Indicate 60 metres before turn
Check blind
spot if diverging more than 1 metre
Position vehicle just left of the
centre of the road
...
Give way to traffic (oncoming / oncoming turning left) and pedestrians
Keep
wheels straight if necessary to wait for a safe gap in traffic
Turn wheel
when front of car is level with the end of the kerb
Enter street just left
of the centre of the road
Check indicator and Mirror and cancel indictor
within 5 seconds or 3 clicks of indicator

Indicate 30 metres before turn

diverging more than 1 Metre
... Turning speed (15-20k) before the corner
Position
vehicle 1.5 metres from kerb
Turn wheel when front of car is level to where
the kerb starts to curve
Final check to the right
Give way to traffic
or pedestrians if necessary
Enter street in either lane 1 or lane 2
Check mirrors and cancel indicator within 5 seconds or 3 clicks of
indictor.

Going  Straight Ahead
choose , and use left/right lane throughout
No signal to enter
give way to vehicles on the roundabout if danger of crash Note!! look for cars enterring clockwise direction
enter onto roundabout WHEN BOTH LANES CLEAR
Left exit signal required
Exit in same lane you entered in.
Multi lane Roundabout TURNING LEFT

Use Left Turn procedure
Indicate 30 metres before
Give Way to vehicles on the roundabout  if in danger of a crash
Enter roundabout when both lanes are clear
Keep left position exit in the left lane.
Multi lane Roundabout Turning Right
use right turn procedure
indicate 60 metres before
Give way to vehicles on the roundabout and enter when no risk of a crash
Drive onto roundabout when both lanes are clear
Remain in right lane
Left exit signal required.
Exit in right lane.

Approaching STALE Red Light( Expecting the lights to change to Green)

Approach STALE traffic Lights
A STALE Red or Green light is a traffic signal light that you did not see change to that colour. The lights will change at any time so you approach expecting them to change. Approach RED light downshifting in manual to arrive for the light to turn to Green.
Approach Stale Green expecting to change to Red making your decision 30 metres from the lights to go or Stop behind the STOP Line.
